a nursery & a name

{got the walls textured}

{Audra helped me paint...THANK YOU, Audra!!}

After all the painting was done, we put together the crib so we could center baby's name on the wall!!
Justin started painting the striped accent wall design.

Because of the textured walls, there was some bleeding on the gray line. So my talented hubby
FREE-HANDED the line where the orange met the gray, on the top and bottom!! Yes, I'm a lucky girl!

{my sister-in-law made the bedding...more on that with better pictures later}

Then he free-handed a rectangle for the letters to mount inside.

We told all of our family the baby's name at Barrett's birthday party.
We are very excited for baby Abe to get here!!!

He is a namesake for two of his uncles...
My little brother, Brandon Craig
and Justin's older brother, Jeffrey Brandon

They were the first to know the name :)

The only real contribution I had to this wall was making the letters. I've had those done for weeks, waiting patiently to hang them! I just covered brown kraft letters from Hobby Lobby with scrapbook paper. I painted the sides of the letters with gray craft paint, and then sanded the edges of the scrapbook paper and mod-podged over the top.

Custom baby mobile-created/hung by my talented hubby.
More pics of it and ALL the finished nursery to come!!

Got this as a gift from one of my sweet clients! Can't wait to wear it!
